All is done

The editing of our film has been finished. This editing took a couple of hours and given that we have a study hall this was easily accessible time. The editing process made us very excited about our future because the editing brought all of the film together. We felt really good considering all of the hard work we put into this process. My team and I did so very well and I am proud.

Finally no more stress

The filming is over. After a couple of days of pushing through the taping and the work we have arrived to where we can now edit. The editing process will undoubtedly go smooth and our final product will be great. Our places of filming include a park, a bank, a parking lot and a library. All filming went on without a hitch and no struggles in terms of location.

Getting closer

This weekend the bulk of our filming will be completed. The stars have seemed to align to allow us all to be free this weekend and to be able to get in all of the things we need that we cannot do throughout the week. My father will be apart of the film as well as my little brother for important parts of the film. Stress is starting to become a bit of a factor just given the entire format that we are supposed to follow. I have no doubt that we will finish just that it might be a little stressful on the way there.

Getting in some research

In order to establish more of a feel that we want for of our film my group and eye decided to watch film that would best give us an idea of what we should reach for. Today we watch “Mission Impossible” due  to us feeling it was similar to what we wanted. The Mission Impossible franchise is one that is prized in action and times of humor. This something we would love to capture on camera. Those movies achieve entertainment and if we are able to fuse the more devious scenes in our movie with humor we will have a winner in our hands.

Gaining more experience

Today in class we did a lot of research on our editing medium, IMovie. Our research was conducted on the video sharing website YouTube and we found out many valuable techniques. The most interesting of those techniques would be the sound effects and the screen motions for our upcoming title. The program we are using will add a needed professional feel to our film. A feel we know is important for the Cambridge graders.

Establishing when

The biggest struggle faced by my team and I is scheduling. We were unable to film this weekend given that all of us were busy. The product we will finish with will be great but hard to get to. I am very excited however. My team and I will not be discouraged and will continues to try.

Banks and fake money

One of the flashbacks included in our movie would be one of our group robbing a bank. Given that we cannot actually simulate a robbery in the bank we will have the bank in the background and a comical release of money as we make our escape. The money that will be thrown will most likely not be real currency given that we are all limited in funds and dollar bills. This scene will hopefully be filmed in the coming week and we will ask our teacher Mrs.Desantis for the camera. If this is available to us and all things go correctly in terms of scheduling we will go off without a hitch.
